History
As an example of the geostrategic investment discipline our principals executed the first principal investments of oil production assets for Swiss-based Südelektra AG, engineering its repositioning from a CHF 100 mm holding company to Xstrata, one of the world's largest energy & mining companies .Our founding shareholders started the German leasing industry with the formation of DAL Deutsche Anlagen Leasing in 1962.
The EuroAtlantic Group was founded in 1978 with an initial equity of € 200.000, increased in 1982 to € 2.5 million and had its initial business focus as a transatlantic investment holding for financial services and leasing companies.
As part of the implementation of an entrepreneurial succession plan, a new majority shareholder with a succesful track record in finance, energy and real estate joined EuroAtlantic Group in 1993 and re-focussed our firm on providing top level financial advisory services and principal investment in real estate and energy, including early stage and high-yield development financing.
In the first three years of re-positioning our firm by our new management team, shareholder equity tripled, while net income and assets under management increased by a factor of ten. From 1996 to 2016, Assets Under Management grew by a factor of 100.
